I am a Full professor in Public Finance at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Director of IDEAGOV and Públika, and a Senior researcher of FUNCAS. Member of the board of directors of the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO) and of RDG.
I have served as a consultant and expert for international institutions, including the World Bank, the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Inter-American development Bank, the OECD, the Forum of Federations, and the Assembly of European Regions, among other institutions. Fellow of the Spanish Royal Academy of Economic and Financial Sciences.
Member of the Committee of Experts on Spanish fiscal federalism and the Committee of Experts on the reform of the Spanish tax system. Director of EconLabGalicia and the Galician Economic Forum.
Columnist for El País and Prensa Ibérica and regular speaker in Cadena SER.
